ARC Raiders Story Plot
A decade earlier, a mysterious robotic threat has appeared in Calabretta known as the ARC. The people have fled to underground colonies like Speranza, where the demand for supplies are at all-time high, and getting resources is dangerous and not for the faint of heart.
That’s where you come in. As a Raider, you’ll be scavenging for resources that are scattered across the land. From scraps of broken arcade machines to looting the unlucky ones who ran into the dangerous mechs. Build trust and earn your keep with the traders in Speranza. There are no rules in Calabretta, and everything is up for grabs for anyone and everyone willing to go there.
When you find a fellow Raider who’s unfortunate enough to be spotted by a bunch of ARC drones, will you lend a hand or wait to loot their valuables?
ARC Raiders Gameplay
ARC Raiders is a third-person action shooter set in a futuristic world that’s been ravaged by mysterious mechs called ARCs. The game was originally slated for a 2022 release, but was pushed back due to the need to refocus to improve their already booming PvP shooter title, The Finals.
The game has had multiple closed tests throughout the years since its initial reveal. Although there still isn’t any official footage on the gameplay, it was announced that the game will shift from a free-to-play model to a $40 premium title instead.

Initially revealed in 2021, ARC Raiders was announced to be a new free-to-play, third-person, PvPvE extraction shooter developed and published by Embark Studios.
Coming 2025 | Gamescom 2024 Teaser
Announced in gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, ARC Raiders resurfaces as a third-person action survival shooter to be released in 2025.
Tech Test Announcement
It was announced on October 22 that the game will have a Tech Test to test its network capabilities. The tech test will be happening on October 24-27, 2024 where you can sign up for playtesting on the game’s Steam page.
Gameplay Reveal
On November 13, ARC Raiders released a Gameplay Reveal trailer, showcasing early tech test footage showing a trio of Raiders on a quest through the ruins of a place called the Buried City of Southern Calabretta.
