Streets of Rogue 2 Release Date and Time
Streets of Rogue 2 has announced another unfortunate delay, of which the developers promise won't be too long. They have launch a working demo for the Steam Next Fest, and will formally announce a new early acess release nearer the new set release date. It will be coming out for the PC first, then eventually find its way to Xbox, Playstation and Switch consoles. We’ll be keeping an eye out if any delays happen further, so stay tuned!

Streets of Rogue Playtest
To stress test the game before release as well as to make up for the two-month delay, the game will be holding a free open playtest available to all around late August and early September. You may request access on Steam and wait for an email for when it goes live.
Is Streets of Rogue 2 on Xbox Game Pass?
The game will not be available on Xbox Game Pass, as it will not be on any Xbox platforms.

November 6, 2024
Since the Streets of Rogue 2's Alpha Demo version, it underwent a series of updates. The latest update, Alpha Demo Patch 27H, addressed substantial bugs. Matt Dabrowski also announced that the future updates will focus on full gamepad support and local co-op.
October 14, 2024
Matt Dabrowski released an Alpha demo version on Steam during Steam's Next Fest, allowing players to provide feedback to the game.
July 18, 2024
Matt Dabrowski shared the unfortunate news that Streets of Rogue 2’s early access release will be delayed for two months, from August 14, to October 22.

Streets of Rogue 2 made a surprise appearance in the annual Summer Game Fest 2024, where it finally unveiled a release date trailer that features famous composer, Perturbator, who’ll be composing the soundtrack!

A day after its announcement, it finally showcased the open-worldliness of the game, where a single randomly-generated world is 10,000 times bigger than a single level from the first title!
