Poppy Playtime Release Date and Time
Poppy Playtime, now Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1, was released for the PC via Steam on October 12, 2021. This release was followed by an Android and iOS port (March 11, 2022), as well as a console release for the PlayStation 4 and 5 (December 20, 2023), Nintendo Switch (December 25, 2023), and Xbox Series X|S (July 12, 2024).

NFT Controversy Followed the Game’s Release
On December 2021, Mob Entertainment was placed under much scrutiny for their NFT controversy, where most fans accused the company of placing the game’s lore behind a dubious paywall. The NFT announcement was quickly deleted, but the NFTs of in-game posters remained due to Mob Entertainment’s contractual obligations.
