Marvel’s Wolverine finally received a Fall 2026 release window during the September 2025 PlayStation State of Play. The game was first announced in 2021 when it was still in the early stages of development, with much of the planning and writing yet to be finalized. Following that initial reveal, there was a four-year official news drought until the recent announcement.
A specific release date has yet to be announced, but developer Insomniac Games teased that more information will be revealed in Spring 2026. We'll update this article as soon as a concrete date is announced, so check back soon!

Marvel's Wolverine was officially revealed to be in production during the PlayStation showcase in September 2021, showcasing a CGI trailer of the titular Marvel superhero in the aftermath of a barfight.
