Marvel's Wolverine Release Date and Time
Releases on September 15, 2026
As revealed by Insomniac Games on their official X/Twitter account, Marvel's Wolverine is slated for launch on September 15, 2026 exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
The journey to this release began in 2021 when the title was first announced during a PlayStation Showcase. At that time, the project was in the very early stages of development, with much of the planning and narrative structure still being finalized.
Following this, the project entered a four-year period of silence with no official news or gameplay updates. This drought finally ended during the September 2025 PlayStation State of Play, where the developer officially narrowed the launch window to Fall 2026 and confirmed that more concrete details would be shared in the spring leading up to launch.

Marvel's Wolverine announced to be released by Fall 2026 during the September 2025 PlayStation State of Play. Along with the announcement came teases of gameplay and visuals. More information is said to be revealed in Spring 2026.

Marvel's Wolverine was officially revealed to be in production during the PlayStation showcase in September 2021, showcasing a CGI trailer of the titular Marvel superhero in the aftermath of a barfight.
