Sea of Stars is available to play now! It was set for release on August 29, 2023, by 12AM EST for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Sea of Stars Story Plot
Sea of Stars follows the tale of two Children of the Solstice. They are unique individuals capable of combining the powers of the sun and the moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only known power able to fend off the monsters of the Fleshmancer.
There to assist them are Garl, a warrior with a penchant for cooking, and Serai, an assassin who can use portals to move in and out of the field.
Sea of Stars Gameplay
Sea of Stars is a traditional turn-based RPG. In addition to the time-tested formula, it will feature precise button timings where players must press the action button at specific times to increase the damage they deal or reduce the damage they take. There will also be multi-character combo attacks and strategic "locks" that allow players to interrupt enemies while they are channeling spells or attacks.
To increase player immersion, there will be no random encounters in the game, and no transitions between the field and battle a la Chrono Trigger.

The Sea of Stars’ launch trailer features the two main protagonists, Valere and Zale, and their companions, Garl and Serai. It showcases some of the fights that the game will have, as well as several of their combat mechanics, such as switching characters and multi-character combos. The "Wheels" minigame is also shown briefly, along with the game’s seamless transition between exploration and combat.
