Capcom Showcase 2023 Game Announcements
Exoprimal - Second Beta Testing, Savage Gauntlet, and Exosuit Variants
Exoprimal, a multiplayer action game set to release on July 14, 2023, pits players against waves of dinosaurs and mutated prehistoric creatures. The game's trailer introduces its time travel and AI entity Leviathan storyline, along with the menacing Neosaurs and the deadly Neo T.Rex.
In a future update, players can expect new Exosuit variations like the Deadeye Alpha: Burst Fire. Furthermore, the Savage Gauntlet mode has several exciting 5-player missions that change weekly, allowing for worldwide competition for the quickest completion time.
Capcom will host a second beta test from June 16-18, 2023, allowing players to experience additional story-related missions,10-player co-op missions, and other enhancements made based on player feedback.
Resident Evil - Nintendo Switch Cloud Versions, PS VR2 Updates and DLCs
Resident Evil Village will be coming to the Nintendo Switch as a cloud version, with Winter's Expansion DLC soon featuring Third Person mode and more.
Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil Biohazard are also already available on the Switch as Cloud versions, and will be on sale until June 26th, 2023.
If you think you've played the most immersive version of Resident Evil 4, you ought to think again. Resident Evil 4's PS VR2 version will be a free DLC exclusive to PlayStation VR2. It does not have a release date yet as it is still in development, but it is said to it will give players the most immersive experience.
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries, a free DLC for Resident Evil 4, provides an arcade-style horde mode where players must fight against waves of enemies to achieve a high score. Resident Evil: The Mercenaries is available for download now.
Street Fighter 6 - New Fighters
Street Fighter 6 just released on June 2, 2023. The developers planned to release new fighters and create more content so players could enjoy the game for a long time.
As scheduled, 4 new characters will be available from Autumn 2023 until Spring 2024. The new fighters are as follows: AKI (Autumn 2023), Rashid (Summer 2023), ED (Winter 2024), and Akuma (Spring 2024).
Ace Attorney - Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice are coming out together in a bundle in early 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Each game's colorful characters and courtroom drama have been relitigated in a beautiful full HD, available in 7 languages (Japanese, English, French, German, Korean, and Traditional and Simplified Chinese), with added voice recordings for the new languages.
Dragon's Dogma II - Ulrika and Nadinia
Dragon's Dogma 2 is a single-player game with pawns at your side to make it feel like a co-op. The gameplay will feature action/roleplay mechanics set in an open-world environment.
The pawns will be powered by AI to help the players with their adventure. In addition to AI, advanced technology like immersive physics will bring the pawns, monsters, and NPCs to life.
One of the things that sets Dragon Dogma 2 apart from its predecessor is the two characters pivotal to the story: Ulrika, a bow wielder with a deep connection to the Arisen, and Nadinia, a high priestess of the Beastren.
Both familiar monsters from the previous game and new monsters, like Medusa, will be present. New player vocations and many new experiences await the players of Dragon Dogma 2.
Ghost Trick - Demo Available
The demo for Ghost Trick is available now for download. Think of the demo as a doorway inviting you to a big mystery. Ghost Trick will be available on June 30, 2023, for Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
Pragmata - Delayed Release
Pragmata is going to delay its release. The development team announced they needed more time to ensure the final product was worthy of the expectant fans' patience.
Megaman X Dive Offline - 2023
The Deep Log that holds the collected memories of the Megaman X Series is under attack. Play as Megaman X and other characters from the Megaman franchise. Level up your character and weapons, control over 100 characters, and overcome more than 900 stages to play.
This game will be available 2023 for Steam, iOS, and Android.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
Kunitsu-Gami is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Capcom. It is set in a fictional Japan where there is a clash between the spirit realm and the mortal man. Players take on the role of a samurai that wields a sword that resembles a haraegushi in Shintoism. This game will be available in Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
Capcom ID Required For Online Features
A Capcom ID account is required to play Resident Evil Re: Verse, Exoprimal, and online features of Street Fighter 6. Capcom services and campaigns, such as a survey about today's Capcom showcase.
Capcom's 40th Anniversary Celebration
Capcom celebrates its 40th anniversary! Capcom presents a digital theme part called Capcom Town. You can explore the website with buildings dedicated to a specific Capcom game and eSports competitions. You can also participate in Capcom Elections when you click the castle. Cast your vote to receive a special reward. You can also play retro Capcom games for free.
