2XKO Release Date and Time
Releasing in 2025

2XKO is set to release in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Riot Games client. Although there have been no official announcements, the game could also launch on Epic Games, similar to other Riot Games titles such as Valorant and League of Legends.
Closed Beta Test on September 9, 2025

Riot Games announced on its official website that 2XKO is now open for sign-ups for its Closed Beta on September 9, 2025. Those interested can register on 2XKO's Closed Beta signup page.
Early Access on October 7, 2025

2XKO kicks off its Early Access version on October 7, 2025. This version will start the very first season: Season 0 and will carry player's progress and unlocked content unlike in the beta test.

Closed Beta Released on September 9, 2025
Riot Games officially released 2XKO's Closed Beta on September 9, 2025, with significant changes to the game since its playtests such as more playable characters and ranked mode.

Riot Games announced in July 2022 that 2XKO will have a Closed Beta on September 9, 2025.
Project L Officially Named as 2XKO on February 22, 2024
Riot Games officially named Project L as 2XKO in a video they released on February 22, 2024. It also confirmed a 2025 release window for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, along with plans for continued playtesting throughout 2024.
Dev Diaries and First Public Demo at EVO 2023
Throughout 2022-2023, Riot Games released several dev diaries that shared the game’s updates and improvements since Project L was announced. It culminated in its first public demo at EVO in August 2023 where they focused on the game’s "Fuse system" and 2v2 experience.
First Gameplay Footage Revealed in November 2021
