Wizard with a Gun is out a day early for PC! Galvanic Games and Devolver Digital released Wizard with a Gun an entire day early for PC, while PS5 and Xbox Series S/X retain their originally slated release date.

A Nintendo Switch port of the game was also announced and will be released at a later unspecified date. Players can try out the demo version of the game, currently downloadable on the official Steam page.
Galvanic Games announced registrations for a multiplayer closed beta test on Steam on September 27, 2023. The closed beta will let selected players experience the multiplayer mode, a few of the in-game changes since the demo, and much more. Improvements for tower customization, floor deconstruction time, crafting and inventory management tools are also implemented.

Ancient Eldritch forces have triumphed and laid the world in ruins. Amidst the chaos and desolation, you, the last remaining wizard must save the world. Armed with arcane knowledge and a powerful enchanted firearm, you will embark on a quest to reverse the cataclysmic events, kill the eldritch abominations roaming the wastelands, and restore normalcy to the world.

Wizard with a Gun is an online sandbox survival game featuring roguelite elements. It will be mainly focused on crafting ammo, customizing your wizard, exploring procedurally generated worlds, and slaying enemy creatures in a magical wilderness.
Players will get to explore new sections of the world featuring different environments and topographies, like deserts, swamps, tundra, and prairies. Maps, again, are procedurally generated, and will contain items used to craft clothing, furniture, potions, and spells. Combining elements and resources to craft annuminition can alter the shots, blast radius, bullet trail, and crosshair indications.
Players can go on runs alone or with other wizard friends in online cooperative play. NPCs that can aid you on your journey also fill the maps. You will find characters like Grandma Bogfen, a master potion crafter who you can acquire healing potions and other concoctions from, and Young Joshua, the gunsmith for weaponry crafting.
Your wizard will have the ability "The First Edition" that will enable you to scan and learn about the objects and enemies you come across. Finish quests by completing various objectives to unlock new worlds and Expeditions.
