miHoYo Rewards Its Players With Thank You Gift
Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) has reached 50 million total downloads globally since its launch last week. "A city that once only existed in the hopes and dreams of the dev team has never been as buzzing with life as it is now. Your patience and support have made New Eridu what it is today," they shared in an official post on their X (Twitter) account on July 6th. As a gesture of thanks and appreciation for the community’s overwhelming support, players who reached a level of Inter-Knot Lv. 1 and above received 1,600 Polychrome, the game’s premium currency.
This number has already surpassed its predecessors’ launch week numbers by a landslide, such as Genshin Impact’s 17 million and Honkai: Star Rail’s 20 million. Nevertheless, the ZZZ development team remain committed to pushing the game to its full potential and to "truly become a city of miracles."
Discord Quest Livestream Event
That’s not all! Players can get extra rewards through the Discord Quest Livestream event that was just launched. Participants must stream ZZZ through Discord’s streaming feature (only applicable to the desktop or browser version) for 15 minutes with at least one viewer. This can be done after accepting the ZZZ Version 1.0 Quest from the Gift Inventory tab. Once the quest is completed, a redeemable code can be claimed then redeemed in-game.

⚫︎ Bangboo System Widget ×1
⚫︎ Polychrome ×30*
Take note that Polychrome rewards are limited to 300,000 recipients, and only the first 300,000 Proxies to complete the Quest will receive the reward.
With all that said, miHoYo’s new ARPG merited an overall score of 76/100 in Game8's review, with its flawless animations and impressive visuals but with a stuffy narrative and simple gameplay that may be too dull for seasoned action-RPG players. "We encourage all Proxies to provide feedback and suggestions via our official channels," they said, listing the said feedback channels which can be accessed in-game or by sending an email. They also revealed that they are continuing their development on optimization improvements, especially with game performance, and that ZZZ is planned to release on cloud gaming services in the near future as well.
"Providing a better gaming experience to all Proxies has always been the vision and goal of the dev team, and will continue to be a long-term focus. We will provide regular updates on optimizations and progress through upcoming dev updates. We will continue our endeavor to ensure each and every Proxy can make even more wonderful memories in New Eridu," they concluded.
