Release Dates For Both Games Will Come Soon
According to a recent post by the National Press and Publication Administration in China, HoYoverse’s Zenless Zone Zero and Kuro Games’ Wuthering Waves finally obtained their publishing license. Their entries are listed on the 79th and 72nd on the table, respectively.
This is usually the last barrier that games developed there need to surmount before they can be officially released. HoYoverse’s previous release, Honkai: Star Rail, for example, was only able to announce a release date after they obtained their license despite being promoted for quite a long time.
From this point on, HoYoverse and Kuro Games have about one year to release the game before their licenses expire. Hence, eager players can expect an announcement regarding their release dates soon.
HoYoverse and Kuro Games have promoted Zenless Zone Zero and Wuthering Waves for over a year, with marketing efforts such as an abundance of gameplay reveals and character design releases on social media and public appearances at conventions and game shows.
