Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 DLC
Following significant community outrage regarding the initial plan to lock playable clans behind an extra cost, Paradox Interactive and developer The Chinese Room officially retracted their controversial launch Downloadable Content (DLC) strategy for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. As a result of this decision, the final game will now ship with six playable clans included in the base purchase.
The two clans that were set to be paywalled—Lasombra and Toreador—will now be accessible to all players at launch. Executive producer Marco Behrmann confirmed the decision, stating that the feedback from the community made it clear these specific clans belonged in the core experience of the game.
Although the clans are no longer post-launch content, the developers are still planning future expansions in the form of narrative-focused DLC. These two post-launch releases, titled Loose Cannon and The Flower & The Flame, are currently slated for release in 2026 and will be available through an Expansion Pass. These story packs will expand upon the world and main narrative by allowing players to experience events from the perspectives of side characters like Camarilla Sheriff Benny Muldoon and Primogen Ysabella Moore.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 can now be purchased on Steam, the Epic Games Store, GoG, the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Store. The game is priced at $59.99, and those who pre-ordered the game received "an exclusive in-game jukebox with iconic tracks by original Bloodlines composer Rick Schaffer."

Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is priced at $69.99—just $10 more than the base game ($59.99). It includes the Santa Monica Memories cosmetic pack, which lets players decorate their haven with nostalgic items from the original Bloodlines. The pack includes a Stop Sign, the Ankaran Sarcophagus, a Voerman Portrait, and a clan neon sign to commemorate each completion with a new clan.

Premium Edition
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 also comes in a $89.99 Premium Edition, which includes the Santa Monica Memories content from the Deluxe Edition and an Expansion Pass.
