Atlus, the publisher of Unicorn Overlord, issued an official statement on its Japanese website apologizing for the stock shortage of physical Unicorn Overlord copies in retail stores across Japan. They assured customers that they are actively replenishing standard versions of the game and advised interested buyers to contact their local retailers for pre-orders.
Although Atlus did not disclose specific sales figures for its debut week, the company expressed sincere appreciation for the overwhelmingly positive reception of Unicorn Overlord, so much so that it has secured a position in the top 10 sales on the UK charts.
