Alongside the developer insights, several exclusive screenshots have been shared, offering a closer look at the game's richly detailed world.
The developers of Tides of Annihilation have confirmed that the game's combat is more akin to Devil May Cry than traditional Soulslike titles, featuring accessible controls and selectable difficulty modes to cater to a wider range of players. While the game includes RPG elements such as leveling and skill trees, these systems are kept light. Players can collect different armors, though these are primarily cosmetic.

The game follows protagonist Gwendolyn as she explores a ruined London where modern decay blends with medieval remnants. Players will encounter towering knights inspired by Shadow of the Colossus, climbing and battling across their massive forms with help from spectral allies. The game is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, though a release date has not yet been announced.
