According to recent updates on the developer's recruitment site, Shift Up is cooking up a "cross-platform next-gen new project," just shy of Stellar Blade's launch, the PS5 exclusive that has been stealing hearts everywhere. The studio's official website's job postings suggested that the project will be an urban fantasy-themed AAA designed for PC, consoles, and mobile devices.

Of particular note is an open position for a Monster Concept Artist, hinting at a game focused on monster combat similar to Stellar Blade. As Shift Up prepares for the launch of Stellar Blade, CEO Kim Hyung Tae surprised all 260 staff members with a PS5. According to Director of Research & Insights at Niko Partners, Daniel Ahmad, the CEO gave the team the console so they could all play Stellar Blade upon release.
