Star Wars Hunters is releasing in Early Access on the PC in 2025, following its initial release on the Switch and mobile devices earlier this year. Read on to find out more details on its playtest and release!
STAR WARS: Hunters Arriving On PC

PC players can now join in the Star Wars fun as STAR WARS: Hunters makes its way onto PC through Steam in January 2025! STAR WARS: Hunters is a free-to-play action-packed 4v4 arena shooter where players will battle it out in stunning arenas inspired by iconic locations in the Star Wars franchise. It was first released on mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch in June 2024, following several delays since its announcement back in February of 2021, and the title now arrives on PC, a port that the community has been requesting for a long time.
Playtest sign-ups are now open, and interested users can register by simply clicking on the Request Access option on the game’s Steam storefront. The playtest will run in two stages, the first one from December 13th to 16th, and the second on January 10th to 13th. This is to ensure that the upcoming launch will be as smooth as possible. Afterwards, the game will officially release to the public in Early Access on January 27th, 2025.

What is Coming to the PC Port?
STAR WARS: Hunters PC Early Access will have everything from the previous releases—namely the Hunters, game modes, and the core gameplay. All features will be kept up to date and synchronized across all platforms, ensuring that all players will have access to the latest events, seasons, and content updates from any supported device.
Early Access launch will also introduce a new battlefield called the Coruscant Underworld to play in, as well as a new hunter named Glikkin, and most importantly, cross platform progression and cross play. It is surely relieving to know that there’s no need to start over on PC if you’re coming from other platforms, while still being able to play with non-PC players.
The developers expect to remain in Early Access until mid-2025, fine-tuning the game continuously until it is ready to exit the early access phase. This includes adding in new PC-focused features and optimizations that come along with each new season.
