Squid Game: Unleashed Coming This December
Pre-Registration Now Open, Exclusive Skin Up For Grabs
Squid Game: Unleashed is coming out globally on Netflix on December 17th. Based on the hit Korean drama-thriller series of the same name, Squid Game: Unleashed will let you experience the whole show in a hilariously bloody way. Inspired by the very same games from the original franchise, players will compete in intense and brutal Contests with 31 other contestants, with each new area sure to get your heart pounding. Play with your friends (or enemies), and shoot your way to the top…if you can make it out alive.
The game will be available to play exclusively on the Netflix app through Netflix Games, and thus needs a subscription to be accessed.
Its newest trailer encourages players to come on over and sign up for pre-registration to get the all-exclusive character skin, as well as showcasing some more snippets of the high-stakes gameplay in all its charmingly violent cartoon glory. Pre-registration can be done on the official Squid Game: Unleashed website, where players can scan the handy QR code to be taken to the appropriate storefront. Alternatively, the game can be simply searched on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The video game adaptation comes to Netflix at an opportune time—it is scheduled exactly nine days before the release of the long-awaited Squid Game Season 2 on December 26th. Protagonist Seong Gi-hun (played by actor Lee Jung-jae) makes a comeback to the very same competition he won three years ago, steeled with a brand new resolution. This marks another round of the infamous death-defying game with a new set of participants, all gathered for a chance to win the hefty prize of 45.6 billion won.
While waiting for the TV series to premiere, hype it up and immerse yourself into the drama’s thrilling world through Squid Game: Unleashed!
