Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 has become a huge success, according to developer Saber Interactive, that the studio revealed they already have plans for a sequel and DLC.

Space Marine 2 DLC and Space Marine 3 May Be in the Cards for Saber Interactive
With the success of Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 launch earlier this month, developer Saber Interactive revealed that the studio has been considering a sequel and DLC this early into the game's lifecycle. According to Saber Interactive chief creative officer Tim Willits, Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2's success has allowed the Space Marine 2 team to "dream bigger" with future potential launches.
"Our game director Dmitry Grigorenko, he has proposed some story ideas that could either be DLC or a sequel," Willits told IGN in an interview. "We're literally just catching our breath. This is two weeks out. We just need to get the dust to settle. But I can confidently say that we will not disappoint our Warhammer fans in the future. It's too big of a success! I know that's an obvious thing to say, but hopefully we'll be working on Space Marine content for a long time."
While Willits didn't share exact sales numbers for Space Marine 2, the CCO said that the game has become the fastest-selling title he has worked on for the length of his career. Publisher Focus Entertainment previously revealed that Space Marine 2 had reached over 2 million players during its launch day two weeks ago. Indeed, lots and lots of players flocked the game that Space Marine 2 sufferer server issues—but, consequently allowing the game to hit a milestone on Steam.

For a Space Marine 2 sequel, aka Space Marine 3, Willits said that the dev team would need to "figure it out" first with Focus Entertainment and Games Workshop. "We just have to figure it out. I would love to do it, yes," he additionally said in the interview. "There's so many different factions... there are other chapters, too, that are interesting..."
Space Marine 2 has confirmed that it is currently working on adding new missions, weapons, enemies, as well as new classes to the game, as part of its-post-launch plans.
