Steam Version Releasing this March 2025
Rise of the Ronin’s PC version is set to release on Steam on March 10, 2025, as announced by Team NINJA and KOEI TECMO America in a press release on January 27, 2025.
Open-world action RPG Rise of the Ronin officially has a Windows PC release via Steam. Rise of the Ronin was originally a PS5 exclusive, but the recent announcement made it more accessible to a wider audience through its Steam version. "The upcoming Steam version will support various PC features, including ultra-wide monitor compatibility, 8K resolution, 120fps, 3d audio, and more!"
Rise of the Ronin can be purchased on Steam for $49.99 USD. Fans who pre-purchased the game before April 2, 2025, will also gain access to bonuses, such as combat styles and a cosmetic pack. However, these are the same rewards as the PS5 version. These bonuses are:

Rise of the Ronin follows the epic adventure of a nameless and masterless warrior, Ronin, during the Bakumatsu era. The Tokugawa Shogunate is in shambles as the Black Ships from the West are forcing Japan to open its borders for trade.
In this open-world game, players also have access to various weapons such as the katana, odachi, and naginata. Each weapon is customizable and has different styles, allowing players to battle enemies according to their combat preferences. Long-range weapons like guns and bows are also available.
Three dominant factions, the Sabaku (Pro-shogunate), Tobaku (Anti-shogunate), and Obei (Western allies), are competing amidst this political turmoil. It is up to the player where to lend their blade, whether to preserve the current political leadership, restore the imperial authority, or abolish Japan’s isolationist policy.
The game features multiple endings, allowing players to navigate the complex loyalties between three competing factions. Engage in assassinations, combat countless enemies, and experience how your choices impact the fate of Japan in Rise of the Ronin.
