Paradise Opens in 2026

Pokémon Pokopia, the latest Pokemon title revealed in the September 12 Nintendo Direct, surely turned heads for its adorable trailer that showcased its gameplay looking similar to two other popular sandbox games, namely Minecraft and Animal Crossing.
With its cubed-shaped cliffs similar to Minecraft's building blocks as well as its citizen-focused, resource-gathering gameplay mechanics akin to that of Animal Crossing, Pokémon Pokopia is looking like a cozy player's dream game with Pokémon!

Pokémon Pokopia is the latest spin-off title in the Pokémon series that features the main protagonist, a Ditto that impersonates as a human, building their own paradise. Players, as the human Ditto, will meet various Pokémon and learn their moves to expand and flourish their land.
Aside from building their paradise, they must also farm different crops to produce vegetables that will aid them in their journey of creating the perfect paradise for Pokémon. Additionally, players are able to collect resources such as berries, rocks, wood, and other materials to craft furnitures and build their home.

Pokémon Pokopia us set to be released some time in 2026 for the Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders for the digital version of the game will begin on November 12 on the Nintendo eShop.
