A collaboration between hit mobile game Pokemon Go and the anime series Pokemon Horizons was just announced! Read on to learn more about the collaboration and when it will take place.
Pokemon Go and Pokemon Horizons Collaboration Event!
Starting Tuesday, March 5 to Monday, March 11 2024
During the Pokemon Presents livestream on Pokemon Day, it was announced that a collaboration event between Pokemon Go and the current ongoing Pokemon anime series Pokemon Horizons will be coming this March! It will be in celebration of Pokemon Horizons finally releasing in numerous countries and regions.
The event duration will be from March 5 at 10:00 a.m. to March 11 at 8:00 p.m. local time. Players will gain 2x XP from hatching Pokemon. Team GO Rocket balloons will also appear more frequently.
Special Event Pokemon
While the event is active, players may encounter the special new Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat. This special Pikachu will have one of the electric mouse’s signature moves make its debut in Pokemon Go, the electrifying Volt Tackle! It will be a Charged Attack that has 90 power in Gyms and Raids, and has 90 power but decreases Defense by one stage in Trainer Battles.
Speaking of debuts, three new Pokemon can be obtained throughout the event!
● Charcadet
● Ceruledge
● Armarouge
Charcadet will be added to the possible pool of Pokemon that can be hatched from 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km eggs. After the event concludes, Charcadet will only be available from 10 km eggs.
In order to obtain either Ceruledge or Armarouge, you must evolve Charcadet by having them as your buddy. Your Charcadet may evolve into Ceruledge after defeating 30 Ghost-type Pokemon, or evolve into Armarogue after defeating 30 Psychic-types.

● Noctowl
● Metagross
Pokemon Horizons’ Liko and Roy Photobomb in Go Snapshots!
As a special surprise, Pokemon Horizons protagonists Liko and Roy will appear in any pictures you take in GO Snapshot during the event! Go on an adventure with the two as you go about your day in Pokemon Go!
