PlayStation just released their video on some game releases to look out for in 2024 and also included some unexpected additional games that didn't have a release date. Read on to learn more.
PlayStation Showcases Upcoming 2024 Releases
PlayStation just dropped their video on upcoming games coming to PS5 this 2024. Some games included in the video didn’t even have a specific release date announced but were included in the video as well.
Silent Hill 2 and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Are Coming This Year
Silent Hill 2 and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater were revealed by PlayStation to be releasing in 2024 despite Konami not revealing the release date nor window for both games. Both games are remakes of Silent Hill 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater respectively, and have been shown to be enhanced with modern graphics fit for the next gen consoles.
Stellar Blade is Also Releasing This Year
Another game that was teased in the previous years but has been in complete radio silence is Stellar Blade, which was originally scheduled for a release in 2023. The game was originally named Project Eve in its first reveal trailer in 2021 and then later renamed to Stellar Blade, as well as officially announcing its PlayStation exclusivity in 2022.
This will be ShiftUp Game’s first AAA title, with their other noteworthy titles being mobile gacha games namely: Goddess of Victory: Nikke and Destiny Child. The game seems to be heavily inspired and influenced by a lot of action RPG franchises like Devil May Cry, Nier/Drakengard, and a little bit of Soulsborne.
Tekken 8, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, And More
Other titles included in the video are some of the more anticipated titles that have been teased from 2023 Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Tekken 8, Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, and Dragon’s Dogma 2 which are all slated to be released in Q1 2024.
