Palworld came under the scrutiny of animal advocacy organization PETA and was called on to create a "vegan guide" for the game. Read on to know more.
PETA Says Palworld Needs Vegan Guide
"PETA has already heard from many Palworld fans who have no interest in eating ‘Pals’ and want a vegan guide created for the game. It’s ‘Veganuary’ after all, and gamers want to help animals by eating vegan in their game worlds and outside," declared PETA's VP of Programs Elisa Allen in a statement to news site InsiderGaming.
PETA is the world's largest animal advocacy organization and promotes 'Veganuary', an annual event that encourages non-vegans to go on a vegan diet during January. PETA's VP of Programs called on Palworld to provide its players with a vegan menu in support of the annual event.
The game includes various dishes using Pal-derived ingredients. Examples include Lamball Kebab and Herb Roasted Lamball, which use mutton obtained from the Pal Lamball. 'Pal meat' is typically acquired by defeating or capturing Pals.
However, the game does offer vegan-friendly alternatives, including dishes like Baked Mushroom, Baked Berries, Bread, and Salad made with tomatoes and lettuce.
