Monster Hunter Wilds Collabs with Fender for 20th Anniversary Celebration
Rathalos-Themed Custom Guitars Unveiled
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the legendary Monster Hunter franchise, Capcom has teamed up with the iconic guitar manufacturer, Fender, to create a one-of-a-kind collaboration that merges the world of music and gaming. This collaboration brings to life a custom Rathalos-themed Telecaster guitar, paying homage to one of the franchise's most recognizable monsters, the fiery wyvern, Rathalos. The guitar will be sold in two editions, the Global Model and a Limited Edition Model.
Rathalos Telecaster Guitar Global Model
For the Rathalos Telecaster Global Model, the guitar's body is decorated with three distinct tones of red, perfectly representing Rathalos' fiery nature, and the neck is adorned with intricate Rathalos inlays.
Limited Edition Rathalos Telecaster Guitar Model
In addition to the global release, Fender is offering an exclusive limited-edition Rathalos Telecaster, which will only be available through Fender Flagship Tokyo and the official online store. This special edition comes with unique features, such as a Rathalos insignia on the pickguard and pickup cover.
The limited edition also includes a custom Monster Hunter Wilds-themed guitar case and guitar picks, which are designed after the in-game item boxes.
Global and Limited Model Release and Pre-Orders
Both the global and limited edition Rathalos Telecasters will be sold worldwide starting March 2025 at Fender's official shops and authorized regional retailers. To secure one of these collector’s items, pre-orders will be available starting Friday, September 27, 2024, exclusively at Fender Flagship Tokyo in Harajuku.
As of this writing, online pre-orders are not yet available for both Fender and Capcom's online store.
