Minecraft Releases Godzilla-Themed DLC
Four New Game Modes and a Free Godzilla T-Shirt Character Creator Item
Minecraft announced a Godzilla-themed DLC developed by Minecraft contributor creators Team-KYO and Impress. Available on the Minecraft Marketplace, the DLC can be purchased for 1510 Minecoins.
The DLC introduces four multiplayer game modes based on the Godzilla movies, along with a movie theater covered in iconic memorabilia. As an additional bonus, players receive a free Godzilla T-shirt character creator item. Players can earn collectibles and take part in the Monarch's Quest to learn more about Godzilla.
"We don't want to ruin the plot twists now, do we? But let's just say that if you like getting up close with other ginormous monsters and/or being the one to destroy everything in your path, you are going to love this," Minecraft wrote on its website.
Godzilla is a fictional dinosaur-like monster, known as kaiju, that originated in Japanese cinema. Godzilla was introduced to the world in the 1954 film "Godzilla". Renowned as the kaiju king, Godzilla has special abilities like the Atomic Heat Beam which it produces inside its body.
In Minecraft x Godzilla DLC, you can play your way by escaping Godzilla’s wrath or even destroying the city as the King of the Monsters itself.
