Inverse's Deputy Gaming Editor Shannon Liao reported in her Substack Newsletter that Xbox recently conducted an internal town hall where Phil Spencer informed employees that "there are no plans to stop making consoles." He emphasized that consoles will remain part of a strategy involving "multiple kinds of devices."
This business event could very well be the event Phil Spencer announced recently on Twitter(X), promising insights into the "vision for the future of Xbox."
Xbox has yet to respond to requests for comment on this matter. However, numerous rumors and speculations suggest that Xbox exclusives like Hi-Fi Rush, Starfield, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle could soon become available on the PlayStation 5.
