New PC Gaming Support for Horizon Forbidden West
Hold on to your arrows, folks, that’s not all you’re getting. Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is getting full PC support, including unlocked framerates, customizable graphics settings, and a whole host of performance-enhancing technologies like NVIDIA DLSS 3 upscaling and frame generation. For those with higher headroom, AMD FSR, Intel XeSS, and NVIDIA DLAA are also available.
Slow loading times are a thing of the past with DirectStorage, which the game leverages to lower those pesky loading times for the PC. The intrepid among you will be spanning beautiful landscapes across the post-apocalypse, so it’s only fair that the Complete Edition also supports ultra-wide displays for 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions. 48:9 resolution is also supported for triple monitor setups.
And finally, if you’re wondering how to deal with PC controls, the Complete Edition also comes with fully customizable mouse and keyboard controls, allowing you to traverse the rolling hills and ruinous mountains of the Forbidden West how you want to. For the controller enthusiasts among you, the game also has full controller support for the PlayStation DualSense controller. Nothing like feeling the tension of a bowstring before you let loose another arrow.
More details regarding the minimum PC requirements for the Complete Edition will be revealed in the coming weeks. We will update this article as they become available.
