Hogwarts Legacy 2 job listings indicate that the sequel would be a single-player experience. Read on to learn more about the latest job listings by Warner Bros. and Avalanche, and the possibility of multiple Harry Potter games coming.
Hogwarts Legacy 2 Single-Player Speculations
Job Listings Suggest Single-Player Experience

Hogwarts Legacy 2 could be a single-player sequel after all, as new job listings appear to point towards this. The Hogwarts Legacy’s sequel was initially speculated to be an MMORPG, as previous career opportunities that opened for Warner Bros. and Avalanche required experience in "live-service games for an Online Multiplayer RPG."
However, one of the latest job posting on Warner Bros. Discovery’s website seek an Executive Producer to work on a "high-quality single-player Action-Adventure RPG." Other job listings posted in the past week include roles for Brand Management & Product Marketing, as well as an Animator, both of which will work within or related to the "Harry Potter universe."
While these listings neither confirm nor dispel theories that the next Hogwarts Legacy title could be an MMORPG, fans noted that the descriptions for these job postings are similar to those used when the original Hogwarts Legacy was being developed.
Multiple Harry Potter Games Coming?

Another possibility that arose amidst this new information is that Warner Bros. and Avalanche could be developing multiple Harry Potter titles. Warner Bros. previously stated that a sequel for Hogwarts Legacy is one of their biggest priorities.
When initial job listings about a Harry Potter MMORPG came to light, the community had mixed feelings about a multiplayer sequel for Hogwarts Legacy, considering the single-player experience was very popular with most.
With the new postings, fans of the first Hogwarts Legacy title were relieved that the sequel could very well return to the solo story mode that everyone played. Meanwhile, those who are expecting a Harry Potter MMORPG still have their hopes up, as the job listings didn’t necessarily eliminate the possibility of the speculated online multiplayer.

Whatever the case, the Wizarding World community will definitely receive a follow-up to Hogwarts Legacy, considering Warner Bros. and Avalanche’s keen interest in proceeding with more projects for the IP.
Furthermore, Warner Bros. also mentioned that the sequel to Hogwarts Legacy will release close to the franchise’s upcoming TV series. This could indicate that Hogwarts Legacy 2 may launch around 2026 or 2027, as the company aims to deliver the series during that period.

Who was thinking it was gonna be an MMO based on job listings? Critical thinking people. Why would they turn their heavy single player game into an MMO all of a sudden? Makes no sense.
