In the final segment of the Cygames EN YouTube video, Granblue Showcase: Part 2 – Relink, Yasuyuki Kaji, the Director of Granblue Fantasy: Relink, disclosed the release of a free demo for both PS4 and PS5. The demo became available last night on January 12, 2024, at 12 AM JST and can be downloaded from the PlayStation store. As of now, there is no information if Steam will also get the free demo. Stay tuned for more updates on this.
The demo offers players access to three modes: tutorial, story, and quest. Additionally, players can choose from up to 11 characters, each with unique loadouts and customizable gear.
The official release of the game is scheduled for February 1, 2024, on PS4, PS5, and Steam.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink
Granblue Fantasy: Relink originates from the well-known web browser role-playing gacha game developed by Cygames. Set in the enchanting floating islands of Sky Realm, the game follows a Skyfaring crew on their adventures. This action RPG allows players to select from various Skyfarers, each possessing distinctive abilities. What sets this game apart is its unique party-based mechanics, enabling players to unleash significant damage by coordinating with teammates like Lyria, a mysterious young girl with extraordinary powers, and Vyrn, a miniature dragon to utilize team-based attacks such as Link Attacks and Chain Bursts to deliver powerful blows.
