In The Game Awards pre-show, it was announced that two Game Award nominees will be collaborating together. The trailer revealed a partnership between two seafaring games, Dave the Diver, and Dredge. Both games have risen to critical success the past year, reaching wide audiences and claiming the hearts of many.
Releasing for Free on Both PC and Switch on December 15, 2023
The collaboration will be a free DLC for Dave the Diver, featuring new gameplay, sushi bar guests, characters, and Lovecraftian monstrosities from Dredge. The DLC will be coming to both Steam and Nintendo Switch versions of the game on December 15, 2023.
Dave will be able to travel to different dive spots and “seek out the violent and unique Aberrations which provide materials for NEW gear and NEW dishes.” The expanded ingredients and dishes surely hint at the ghostly new guests for the seaside bar, the Bancho Sushi.
