Square Enix has announced a new board game, based on the PS2 classic FF12, tentatively titled, “Final Fantasy: The Six Moogle Siblings’ Mob Hunt.”

Final Fantasy: The Six Moogle Siblings’ Mob Hunt Demo Trial at Tokyo from April 27 to April 28, 2024
Square Enix has been on a roll lately with analog games. The company announced a brand-new board game currently in development with a working title "Final Fantasy: The Six Moogle Siblings’ Mob Hunt."
Based on Square Enix's PS2 RPG FF12, Final Fantasy: The Six Moogle Siblings’ Mob Hunt will be showcased and demoed at the upcoming "Game Market 2024 Spring" event, taking place at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center from April 27 to April 28, 2024.
Designed by board game designer Seiji Kanai and illustrated by Ryoma Ito, the new board game features various characters and the fan-official mascots of the series, Moogles, from the magic-filled medieval fictional world of Ivalice. While Square Enix has yet to disclose gameplay details and product information, they have provided a glimpse into the game with six newly revealed cards:
⚫︎ Montblanc: Grants +2VP on victory when the game ends.
⚫︎ Van (Vaan): This card can be moved to other fields during the player's turn.
⚫︎ Morbol (Malboro): [When the game ends] Places a fatigue token on cards with an original power of 7 or more.
⚫︎ Hurdy: [Face side] Allows players to draw a card and then send a card from hand to the bottom of the deck.
⚫︎ Panelo (Penelo): [When the game ends] Removes all fatigue tokens from the player's own cards in the field. No more fatigue tokens can be placed in the future.
⚫︎ Pylraster: [When the game ends] Nullifies all text in cards.
In addition to Final Fantasy: The Six Moogle Siblings’ Mob Hunt, Square Enix will also offer some of its previously released board games for sale at the event, including Final Fantasy VII Remake: Materia Hunter, Dragon Quest Jinro (Werewolf), and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood – The Promised Day.
