Fields of Mistria Will Get Its 3rd Major Update on July 21
Heart Events, Dating, Monsters, Decor, QoL Improvements, and More
Fields of Mistria is set to receive its third major update on July 21, 2025 since its Early Access release last year. This upcoming update will include a new dating mechanic, increased heart and skill caps, new events and quests, quality of life improvements, and many more. The developers tweeted out a roadmap of what’s to come, but here are some of the main highlights of the update.
You Can Now Date Your Favorite Villager
There is something for everyone in this new update, including features that fans have been waiting for ever since Early Access was launched last year. Starting with the exciting new features for all of the beloved NPC Villagers. The upcoming update will include major additions to player interactions with other villagers. Players who have already maxed out their hearts long ago will now get the opportunity to grow even closer to their favorite NPCs! This update will also introduce 8 heart events—scenarios that will give players a deeper look into the villagers’ stories and personalities.
The long-awaited dating mechanic is also here. Players who already had their eyes set on certain villagers can now go on dates with them. Though Fields of Mistria has always included romantic conversations and scenarios between players and NPCs, being able to ask a character out on a date was never really an option until this update.
And for players who desire even deeper friendships with villagers but don’t quite want to romance them, you will soon have the option to take the Best Friend route with them instead.
Continue Your Mission to Revive Mistria
There will be plenty more chances to help out the Mistria townies and to spend more time with the rest of the community. After this update, even more requests will pop up on the Request Board along with new Town Repair Quests, bringing you a few steps closer to restoring Mistria. You can also find a home for new collectibles at the Museum with the new sets and their corresponding rewards. If you have already reached Renown Level 90, there's no need to worry; the Renown Level will increase with this update, so you can obtain even more sweet rewards.
New Skill Perks and More Storage
Restoring Mistria has never been easier now with the skill cap increase and additional skill perks. Players will have a smoother and more enjoyable time farming, fishing, foraging, and exploring. Of course, with these new abilities, collections will continue to grow and eat up at your storage. Luckily, the update’s QoL improvements will include bigger chests and a new auto-deposit option wherein players can easily dump collected items into existing piles with just a single click.
Besides these new features and enhancements, Fields of Mistria fans can look forward to even more content. There will be new monsters, Sunday Market Vendors, more cosmetics, a festival, and a greenhouse for all of your green thumb needs!
