Divinity Was Announced at The Game Awards 2025
Divinity Is The Hellstone Statue

Divinity was just announced at The Game Awards 2025, finally revealed as the game behind the mysterious Hellstone statue that TGA organizer Geoff Keighley previously teased on Twitter (X). Following the success of Baldur's Gate 3, developer Larian Studios ventures back to one of their most beloved franchises in Divinity.
The studio dubs the game as its most ambitious title yet, and will have greater breadth and depth than anything they have ever made before. Though no gameplay or release window was shown, the cinematic trailer featured a much darker, more macabre tone, involving ritualistic burning, a gruesome amalgamation of bodies, and the manifestation of a new Divine presence.

In a press release, Larian Studios Founder and Game Director Swen Vicke stated, "Despite our long history with the series, this is our first game entitled ‘Divinity.’ We’re ready to bring everything we’ve done previously into one place. This marks the beginning of something with more breadth, depth, and intimacy than anything we’ve created before. We’ve been building toward this moment ever since we took our fate into our own hands. This is the Divinity we’ve always wanted to make and you're going to have loads of fun with it."
Divinity is currently in development, and has not yet revealed any specific release date or platforms it will be available on. More information can be found on the game's official website.
