Tides of Tomorrow

Tides of Tomorrow is set in a world devastated by a Great Flood. In its ruined society, desperately trying to survive, a deadly plastification phenomemon is wreaking havoc and threatens to eliminate what's left of the world. Your job is simple but daunting: find a cure. To do so, you must explore abandoned platforms, deal with faction disputes, and carefully select your allies. If you accomplish those properly, then you might even have a chance to succeed.

Phoenix Springs

Phoenix Springs is a modern take on classic point-and-click adventure games. After Love EP

After Love is a slice-of-life adventure game set in modern Jakarta, offering players a poignant exploration of themes such as love, loss, and self-discovery. Tom the Postgirl

Tom the Postgirl is a point-and-click walk-n-stalk spooky adventure game where players directly control Tom as she navigates her delivery route, encountering various quirky and unsettling situations. A Little to the Left is a charming little puzzle game where you rearrange household objects to gain stars, but the stars are coming in by the dozens in its new Seeing Stars DLC. Try your hand at finding all 100+ stars among 33 new levels and 5 unlockable bonus levels. Tease your brain with the introduction of interactable objects that fold, unfold, bounce, and unroll for even more object-rearranging fun. Are things not looking quite right? Building Relationships

Building Relationships is a casual simulation game where players take on the role of a house on an island. The title itself is a clever play on words, as "Building Relationships" not only refers to the act of forming connections with others but also alludes to the relationships of a building. In this unique simulation, players experience life from the perspective of a building. They control their house as they explore the island, interact with other structures, and engage in various activities to foster relationships with eligible "bachelor pads" and potentially find their soulmate.

Psychroma

Psychroma is a narrative-driven side-scrolling game where players step into the shoes of a digital medium. While Waiting

While Waiting is developed by the team behind the critically acclaimed game Moncage, known for its unique puzzles and stunning visuals. With their proven track record, players can expect innovative gameplay and immersive storytelling in While Waiting. In While Waiting, players encounter a diverse range of waiting scenarios, covering moments from birth to death. The game offers a comprehensive exploration of life's waiting periods, inviting players to delve into seemingly mundane moments and discover the hidden elements and surprises within.

Zoochosis

Zoochosis is a bodycam horror simulation game that puts players in the role of a zookeeper tasked with a harrowing challenge. In a world where animals are infected by mutants, players must identify these creatures, develop a vaccine, and ultimately cure them to save both the animals and themselves. The game utilizes a first-person perspective, immersing players in the intense and terrifying atmosphere of the infected zoo.

Screenbound

Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure

Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure features innovative gameplay set on a distinctive, interconnected grid that encompasses the entire game world. This grid-based system seamlessly integrates movement, exploration, and combat. As Jemma, the protagonist, moves, anything aligned with her in the same row or column also moves. This mechanic includes a unique twist where elements can loop around the edges of the grid, creating a dynamic and playful sense of chaos. Players are constantly challenged with a series of small, thoughtful puzzles that exploit this central mechanic, offering a refreshing blend of strategy and creativity.

Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure will release on July 25, 2024.

Koira

Koira is a puzzle adventure game that begins with the player waking up far from the heart of the forest, away from home. The game's narrative is centered around a heartwarming tale of friendship and protection. As the protagonist, you find and befriend a lost puppy, taking on the responsibility to protect it from various dangers. The journey involves traversing the forest, solving ancient puzzles, and interacting with woodland creatures. Your ultimate goal is to find your way back home, all while ensuring the safety and well-being of your newfound companion.

A demo for Koira will be available in the summer of 2024.

Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit

From Netflix comes Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit, the sequel to a beloved role-playing game where kindness rules and new friends, crafts, and recipes await. Dive into the wilderness and spread a little kindness to your spirited bear friends as you cook, craft, and decorate the surrounding area. Adopt animal companions and find forever friends as you venture into the woods for new resources, new recipes, and new spirit bears to interact with. A little bit of kindness goes a long way in Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit, available through Netflix starting June 25, 2024.

UFO 50

UFO 50 is an ambitious collection of 50 games created by Mossmouth, the mind behind Spelunky. The collection spans a wide array of genres, ensuring that there is something for every type of gamer. Each game within the collection aims to deliver a unique experience while maintaining a cohesive 8-bit aesthetic.

UFO 50 is releasing September 18, 2024.

Karma: The Dark World

Karma: The Dark World is a first-person cinematic psychological thriller set in a dystopian version of East Germany in the year 1984. The game is deeply atmospheric, combining elements of espionage and psychological intrigue within a totalitarian regime controlled by the omnipresent Leviathan Corporation. Players take on the role of Daniel, a Roam Agent working for Leviathan’s Thought Bureau. Daniel's mission is to investigate a series of events that occur within a specific moment in time, a task that plunges him into a world of espionage, betrayal, and hidden secrets.

Petal Runner

Petal Runner is a slice-of-life story about Cali and his partner Kira as they train to become Petal Runners. These are specialized couriers who undergo special training to deliver Leap Cells. The Leap Cells form the backbone of Petal Runner's view of society, which has achieved the technology of creating artificial pets. Along the way, the duo must complete deliveries, gain experience, make new connections, and unveil a world of possibilities with Leap Cells, delivered with the developers' love for Game Boy Color visuals. Cairn

The life and challenges of an alpinist are yours to conquer in the unique mountain-climbing gameplay of Cairn. Achieve increasingly greater summits as you ascend through the sheer mountain faces and treacherous outcrops of various challenging mountains. Cairn isn’t just about finishing a climb, however, it’s also about surviving the climb. Battle through, hunger, thirst, and fatigue as every step closer to the summit becomes more challenging than the last.

Battle Vision Network

Battle Vision Network(BVN) is a new 1v1 turn-based color-puzzle-matching battling game from Capybara Games where you must match your troops/colors to send over to your opponent’s side of the board to inflict damage! It’s set in a cozy and zany world of futuristic space where Puzzle Battles are the most watched sport, and competitors from all around the galaxy flock to participate in them.

Many longtime fans of Capybara Games would realize that BVN looks similar to their previous game, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes–in which the developers themselves confirm it to be a spiritual successor!

Day of the Devs began in 2012 as a collaboration between iam8bit and Double Fine. Recently, Day of the Devs has transitioned into an independent non-profit organization. This change aims to enhance transparency in fundraising efforts and provide clarity on the importance of community and sponsor support. The organizers emphasize that this new structure reinforces their commitment to being entirely platform-agnostic, ensuring a broad and inclusive focus across the gaming community.

The shift to a non-profit model will make fundraising efforts more transparent and public, allowing sponsors and the community to better understand the critical nature of their support. This move also solidifies the event's dedication to inclusivity and independence, promising a more open and community-driven approach moving forward.
