In the first of many new game announcements in the presentation, Bloober Team, fresh off the success from the Silent Hill 2 Remake, revealed their next title during the Xbox Partner Preview in October 2024! Titled ‘Cronos: The New Dawn,’ it’s the studio’s first original third-person survival horror game (excluding the aforementioned SH2 Remake).
It will be a thrilling story set between two distinct time periods– the brutality of Communist Poland in the 1980s, and a distant future where the world is a wasteland due to the effects of a worldwide pandemic dubbed ‘The Change’ that transformed countless into terrifying monsters with zombie-like and animalistic features.
Suited up with your scuba-diver helmet and armed with your retro-futuristic weapons, travel through time between the two settings and survive the gravity-defying horrors of the past and future!
Cronos: The New Dawn is set to be released for the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and the PC via Steam this coming 2025!
