Launches This August 23, 2024 for the PS5 and PC!
The State of Play May 2024 presentation held by PlayStation started with a 5-minute cinematic trailer for the upcoming 5v5 multiplayer character-based game Concord! First teased over a year ago, it finally reveals all sorts of details about the world and the characters. The full cinematic trailer showcases the different personalities that will be thriving within Concord, all revealed through a story set piece wherein the team starts a heist that goes terribly, terribly wrong. The trailer is full of wit, action, and team-based strategic planning that’s meant to represent the teamplay that will be available in-game eventually. It cannot be ignored how much the entire cinematic matches those of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, from the style of humor, aesthetics, and the overall vibe.
Concord will be fully released this coming August 23, 2024 for PC and the PlayStation 5, where pre-orders will be available as soon as June. There will also be a beta test a month before release in July.

Meet the Freegunners in First-Person Gameplay!
The Freegunners are the space outlaws that will comprise the extensive Concord roster! Each character will have their own role to play in battle, so pick and choose your hero with your team and synergize your abilities to come out on top! From firing off potshots with your pistol, sniping enemies from across the battlefield, hitting precise shots with your futuristic crossbow, or full-on blasting people with very big guns, the weaponry in Concord will be a wide variety. Not only that, but each character will have specific special abilities exclusive to them that could easily turn the tides of the match at a moment’s notice!
