What to Expect in Capcom Spotlight
Capcom boasts a wide range of heavy-hitting upcoming and released titles, and notably, one of them is the latest mainline Resident Evil title, Resident Evil Requiem (RE9). With its announcement during Summer Game Fest (SGF) 2025, fans are excited to know more about the new era of horror that the game will bring.
Another game that was showcased during SGF 2025 was Pragmata, which revealed its updated release date of 2026. Pragmata was previously slated for a 2022 launch, but was delayed as Capcom wanted to ensure the game’s quality. Its recent trailer gave fans more insight into its narrative and mechanics, and the upcoming Capcom Spotlight could reveal more about the game.
Meanwhile, Monster Hunter Wilds will have its free Title Update 2 coming later this summer, so players anticipate that more information will be revealed during the online showcase. On the other hand, Street Fighter 6 fans expect further details with the Year 3 DLC, especially with the return of Sagat coming this summer.
Capcom’s loaded lineup will surely fill the 40-minute livestream with exciting news, updates, and even surprises for their upcoming and ongoing games. The company looks to carry this momentum until next year with RE9 launching on February 27, 2026, and Pragmata following later at an unannounced date.
