What is the Black Voices in Gaming Showcase?
Black Voices in Gaming is a Black-led, nationally recognized nonprofit organization based in Oakland, California. Dedicated to increasing Black representation and fostering inclusion within the gaming industry, the organization champions a growing community of Black game developers and creators.
Through events and showcases like the Black Voices in Gaming showcase, as well as advocacy, Black Voices in Gaming highlights culturally relevant games that center the lived experiences of Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC), helping shape a more diverse and equitable future for gaming.
