Developers Pay Tribute To Batman

In Memory of Kevin Conroy

At the end credits of Batman Arkham Asylum, Switch players spotted a tribute to the late Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman in the Rocksteady trilogy: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight. Players were shown a black and white drawing of Gotham with the text: "In memory of Kevin Conroy."

In addition to playing Batman in the Arkham trilogy, Kevin Conroy first dawned the caped mask of the Caped Crusader in "Batman: The Animated Series," which aired in 1992.

Ever since, Conroy had played the voice of Bruce Wayne on multiple occasions. On November 10, 2022, it was announced by Warner Bros. Discovery that Conroy had passed away from intestinal cancer at age 66.

Soon after his passing, Warner Bros. Games revealed Conroy's final project voicing Batman will be in the game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The game is set to be released on February 2, 2024.

Batman Arkham Trilogy is a game bundle that contains the games: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight with all of their DLC included. In these action-adventure games, you assume control of Batman as he takes on his rogue gallery of iconic villains, such as the Joker.

Originally developed by Rocksteady Studios, this trilogy bundle was developed by Turn Up Games for the Nintendo Switch and released on December 1, 2023.

According to fans and reviewers alike, each game has notable problems such as frame drops, poor performance in combat, and picture quality problems. Although most notably, Arkham Knight had the most issues, which included game breaking bugs that would cause the game to crash, frames dropping to 0, and a variety of glitches. It is currently unknown if the games will receive a patch update to fix these issues.
