The Arcane season 2 trailer just recently released, and seems to confirm a very popular theory regarding season 1’s Vander. Spoilers ahead for season one of Arcane. Read on to learn more.
Arcane Season 2’s First Look Trailer (Spoiler Warning)
Vander is Warwick
Riot and Netflix just released the highly anticipated Arcane season two first look trailer, and seems to confirm a popular theory about Vander actually becoming Warwick. The trailer is only 44 seconds long, and shows Singed who appears to be performing a blood transfusion. It’s later shown that he’s experimenting on a large body hanging on a ceiling, infusing a green liquid substance into the body using tubes.
During season one, Vander seemingly died while protecting Vi, and Singed later took his body back to his lab. In this scene, sketches of Warwick’s character model from League of Legends can be seen in Singed’s lab, which was the detail that formed the famous theory that Vander’s going to be turned into Warwick. In addition to Singed taking Vander’s body in season one, the trailer confirms the theory because the tubes with green liquid attached to the body can also be seen in Warwick’s default character model and character art. Moreover, Warwick’s in-game lore states that he originates from Zaun, the city that Vander once led, and is where he resides for the entirety of the show. Warwick’s character lore also says that he was experimented on by Singed, which may exactly be what we saw in the trailer.
Arcane season 2 will come in November of this year and will pick up right where the season one finale cliffhanger ending left off.
