Duo Matchmaking Has Been Secretly Available For Some Time
ARC Raiders have secretly implemented duo queues earlier this week, and developer Embark Studios has officially announced that it will be included in the game moving forward. In an article released on ARC Raider’s official website on November 12, the developers explained how matchmaking will work for duos.
According to Embark Studios, queues will prioritize Solos and Squads to play separately, then Duos play with other Duos, and finally, Trios to play with other Trios. However, the developers noted that this is not a 100% guaranteed system, so players might encounter different situations when matchmaking.
Cosmetic Pricing Adjustments and Future Premium Raider Deck
Following player feedback, the studio has reviewed its pricing model and will make adjustments to lower costs on applicable items. The new, revised prices will take effect on November 13 at 10:30 CET. The developers also confirmed that any purchase made before the update will automatically be compensated for the difference, with Raider Tokens being refunded to players’ accounts by next week.
Furthermore, Embark Studios announced that premium Raider Decks will be coming in the future. As of the moment, there is only one free Raider Deck (battle pass) available in the game since its launch.
However, they emphasized that the upcoming premium Raider Decks will not include pay-to-win items, focusing solely on cosmetics and convenience. Conversely, gameplay items will be included only in the free version of the Raider Deck, which everyone can unlock through progression.
With these changes, Embark Studios continues to adhere to community feedback and improve the game. As of writing, ARC Raiders has "Very Positive" reviews on Steam and has reached an all-time peak of over 700,000 concurrent players.

North Line November Update Details Revealed
As revealed in ARC Raiders’ 2025 roadmap, the game will launch the "North Line" update for November. Starting on November 13th, with the "Breaking New Ground" community event, players are required to collect and donate Basic Materials (Metal, Fabric, Chemicals, Rubber, and Plastic Parts) to restore sealed underground tunnels.
Once the goal is met, players will unlock the fifth map, Stella Montis. This map is carved into the northern mountains, featuring a cold, sterile, and relatively well-preserved abandoned facility. This also triggers Phase II of the event, "Staking Our Claim," which is a new, limited-time progression track that offers personal rewards and challenges.
In Stella Montis, players will encounter two new ARC enemies called the "Matriarch" (an imposing machine found during a specific map condition) and the "Shredder" (a close-quarters threat first appearing in Stella Montis). Additionally, the update adds a new legendary weapon, three new mines, and two new grenades.
Embark Studios also reminded fans that the North Line update is just the beginning of their post-launch plans. "The next update, Cold Snap, arrives this December which introduces the "Flickering Flames" event, a new snowfall Map Condition, the awaited Expedition Project Raider reset, and more," the ARC Raiders team stated.
