ARC Raiders Crossplay and New FAQs Updates
No Console-Only Crossplay

ARC Raiders will not feature console-only crossplay, meaning PlayStation and Xbox players will be pooled with PC players if they intend to enable cross-platform matches. As updated on ARC Raiders’ official Discord server, developer Embark Studios provided more details about the game’s crossplay mechanics and other vital information.
Unlike Battlefield 6, which prioritizes consoles first in its console-crossplay matchmaking, console players who disable crossplay will only be matched with players on the same console. This has been a topic of debate among many players, largely due to the presence of PC users with the ability to exploit cheats on PC, which then sullies the overall experience.
Moreover, players are required to purchase the game on each PC or console they wish to play on, but progress (which includes currency and skins) can be shared if they connect their account to their Embark ID. Do note, however, that mouse and keyboard support on consoles will not be available at launch.
Server Details and System Requirements

Aside from the crossplay system, Embark Studios also shared more details about its servers and system requirements. At launch, ARC Raiders will not have regular mandatory server wipes, and the developers will expound on this in an upcoming blog post.
The game will open servers in Asia, South America, North America, Europe, and Oceania. Moreover, the developers also updated ARC Raiders’ system requirements, which can be seen below:

With the game inching closer to its upcoming launch and final playtest, the developers are ensuring that players are well-prepared and well-informed on the newest third-person shooter. Despite the recent controversy regarding ARC Raiders being censored on CoD Black Ops 7’s chat, Embark Studios remains focused on releasing as intended.
ARC Raiders is set to be released on October 30, 2025, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games. To stay up to date with the latest information about the game, check out our article below.
