Early Access on PC

Hades II, the highly anticipated sequel to Hades, is set to be released in Early Access on PC. While exact information surrounding the game’s release has not yet been disclosed, fans can expect more to be revealed closer to the launch date.

Although the wait until the second quarter of next year seems like a very long time for early access development, the wait is sure to be worth it as Supergiant Games stated that they are taking their time to ensure that users will have at least as much content the original game had upon release. The developers are committed to providing its players a complete gaming experience, even as early as before the release of the full game.

Supergiant Games has emphasized the importance of Early Access in the development of Hades II, much like it did with the original Hades. Early Access enables the developers to gather player feedback and tweak the game based on the player base’s input. The developers believe that the chosen timeframe is in the sweet spot between being adequately developed enough to address player feedback effectively while not being too late to incorporate substantial changes.

Following the Early Access launch, Supergiant Games plans to release several major updates to expand the game's core content and refine existing elements based on player feedback. These updates will expand the story, introduce new characters, and deepen relationships with existing ones. The journey will then culminate in a v1.0 launch, which will feature the story’s conclusion along with other finishing touches.

What to Expect Before Early Access
