Killing Floor 3 Announced

A Long-Awaited Sequel To The Series

Finally, after seven-odd years since Killing Floor 2 was released, Tripwire Interactive has announced that they will release a sequel to the game in Killing Floor 3.

Killing Floor is a visceral first-person shooter where players must survive waves of monstrous horrors that seek to gouge their victims’ innards out and eat their eyeballs (probably). To survive through that, they must carefully battle through the horde while managing different resources, such as ammunition and grenades. The game also provides them with various tools to aid in their fight, such as a welder to seal and repair doors or equipment, a flashlight to illuminate dark areas, and a medical syringe to heal yourself or others in a pinch.

The enemies in Killing Floor are called Zeds. They're genetically-engineered bioweapons that look like undead with various technological augmentations. While most of them can be defeated with a good shot to the head, some require special care. One such example is the Siren, whose sonic screams can damage players through their armor and prematurely destroy grenades and pipe bombs before they have a chance to explode.

Release Date Not Yet Announced

Unfortunately, the announcement doesn't come with a release date. However, the game can already be wishlisted on Steam, Epic Games Store, and PlayStation Store. It will also be available for the Xbox Series X/S.
