THQ Nordic just had its Digital Showcase for 2023, and they've announced a slew of brand-new games, as well as updates on current ones in their roster. Read on to learn about every single trailer that came out on the showcase.

Alone in the Dark
The first trailer shown at THQ Nordic’s Digital Showcase was a trailer showing off the facial animations in the upcoming remake of the classic 1992 horror game, Alone in the Dark. Here the game’s protagonist, Edward Carnby (played by David Harbour), gives a monologue about his past. A trailer showcasing Emily Hartwood (played by Jodie Comer) was also shown at the end of the showcase.
The Alone in the Dark remake is set for release on October 25, 2023.

South Park: Snow Day!
In South Park: Snow Day!, you’ll get to enjoy one of the delights of childhood in South Park. But it’s not just any regular ol’ snow day… it’s a day for carnage! Join Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny as they fight their way through the snow-covered streets of South Park to save the world and, more importantly, enjoy a day without any school.
The game is set for release in 2024, for the PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
Outcast: A New Beginning
The showcase also gave us a new trailer for Outcast: A New Beginning - a sequel to the 1999 video game Outcast. Again, players are brought to the world of Adelpha and into the shoes of Cutter Slade, the protagonist from the original game. He had been resurrected by the almighty Yods to liberate the native Talans from invading robot forces. Use your jetpack to outmaneuver your enemies, create your weapons to take down the invaders, and explore the world without boundaries.
Outcast: A New Beginning still has no release date, but is set to come out for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

WRECKREATION
Love racing? Love building your own tracks? Love racing on the tracks you built? Well! You’re about to fulfill your racing dreams with Wreckreation. It doesn’t matter if you want loops, a ramp, a bunch of cars, a whole wild west town, or any other obstacle. If you can imagine it, you can build it. Customize your car and take it out for a spin on your own personal deathtrap - er, I mean, your track.

Titan Quest 2
The sequel to the celebrated THQ RPG Titan Quest, Titan Quest 2 promises to bring you again on a Diablo-inspired adventure through Ancient Greece. Here, players will explore a world of myth and monsters, crossing paths with Centaurs, Satyrs, Harpies, and more. You will have to dodge and counter their attacks, and outfit yourself with powerful weapons and gear. You can play co-op with friends, and face Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution, together.

Last Train Home
A new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Real-Time-Strategy game Last Train Home was shown at the showcase. In this "Survival RTS," you will have to lead your armored train full of Czechoslovakian soldiers through the chaotic landscape of the Russian Civil War. Deploy squads of soldiers ahead of the train and clear the way for your convoy, manage their skills and capabilities, and fight your way to freedom.

Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy
THQ also showed a couch co-op trailer for the upcoming puzzle platformer Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy. Up to four players can work together to navigate platforming puzzles and take out fearsome clockwork enemies in a stunning fantasy world of deserts, forests, and steampunk cities.
Trine 5 is set to come out on August 31, 2023 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Space for Sale
Fancy yourself as an intergalactic real estate agent? In Space for Sale, that dream can become a reality! Way of the Hunter: Tikamoon Plains
The renowned hunting game Way of the Hunter has just come out with its new Tikamoon Plains DLC. Go to the heart of Africa, explore by car or go on foot, and hunt for your quarry through lush grasslands and dry, unforgiving Savannahs. Face anything from warthogs, geese, Cape buffalos, and hyenas. But be careful most of all, the lion; the king of the animal kingdom, ruler of these plains.

Tempest Rising
The upcoming RTS Tempest Rising also had its own trailer to show in the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase, with further glimpses into its gameplay and CG cinematics. Inspired by Command and Conquer and other RTSs from the 90s, Tempest Rising pits three groups, the Global Defense Force, the Tempest Dynasty, and a mysterious third faction, against each other as Earth is ravaged by the spread of the destructive Tempest Vines throughout the planet.
Tempest Rising is set to come out within 2023, though there’s no solid date yet. A demo is already available via Steam.

Gothic Remake
A classic from 2001, remade. THQ is working with Alkimia Interactive to bring back the fabled RPG, Gothic, and deliver it to a modern audience. The game promises to fully recreate the world of the prison colony where you, the Nameless Hero, found yourself more than 20 years ago in the original game. Amid a mutiny, you’ll have to deal with all manner of wild animals, creatures, and convicts if you want to survive and save the world.
The game has no release date yet, but it will be available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin
The video game adaptation of a comic miniseries, TMNT: The Last Ronin puts you in the shoes of the titular Last Ronin - the last surviving teenage mutant ninja turtle after the foot clan successfully took over New York City. Find out the story of how the Last Ronin came to be, and how he’ll take vengeance against those who killed his family.
With the game having just been announced, THQ Nordic said the game is currently in development. But it will be made available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

THQ Nordic: 20 Games Still Unannounced
At the end of the showcase, THQ Nordic said that it had 37 games in development, with 20 still unannounced as of the showcase. There’s no word yet on what these remaining games are, but we’ll keep an eye out and put out news when they’re announced.
