Speculated Games Coming to Nintendo Switch
So, what’s brewing for the Switch? While Nintendo is keeping a tight lid on specific announcements, the rumor mill is churning with speculation. One title that’s been on everyone’s radar is Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which has been in development since it was first shown at E3 2017.
Fan speculation is also swirling around Pokémon Legends: Z-A, a remaster of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, and the new Mario Kart game that was teased during the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal. And hey, with Hollow Knight: Silksong making its presence felt again recently, could this finally be the moment fans get a release date? One can only hope.
Now, while the focus of the Direct is squarely on the current Switch lineup, it’s worth noting that Nintendo has confirmed backward compatibility for the upcoming Switch 2. This means that anything revealed can also be played on the new console.
As we count down the hours of the presentation, the anticipation is palpable. Will there be surprise announcements? Only time will tell. But one thing’s for certain: Nintendo knows how to keep us on the edge of our seats.
