Meet The Legends
With Street Fighter 6's release date looming ever closer, the public still doesn't have much of an idea about what the venerated fighting series' story mode for this game will look like. Most are only aware of the game's website, where they can learn the gist of what the mode contains, such as the ability to customize your character and learn moves from other fighters. But with the opening narrative by Ryu and the subsequent scenes, an idea is more or less born about what it would be like.
First shown on PlayStation Showcase, Street Fighter 6's latest trailer gives us the best look at the game's all-new story mode. It features classic fan favorites like Dhalsim, Juri, Chun Li, Ryu, and Guile, as well as your own Avatar in their journey to seek strength.
The World Tour
Street Fighter 6's World Tour Mode features an Avatar system that allows you to create a customized character. In their travels, they can meet and learn from other fighters, who can take you under their wing as their student. With the ability to mix and match movesets, create a fighter that suits your playstyle!
The mode will also feature skill trees and the ability to level up your stats. With enough experience, your master may teach you more moves. There will also be a bond system where fulfilling certain conditions will strengthen the relationship between you and your master, unlocking new scenes and emotes and even have them assist in battle.
Street Fighter 6 launches on June 2, 2023, on the PC, PS4, PS5, and the Xbox Series X|S, with an arcade version within the year.
