Five Nights at Freddy's Teaser Breakdown
What the Teaser Actually Shows Us

The teaser opens up with an old training video for Freddy Fazbear's Pizza's security guards. The video's age is highlighted by its fuzzy quality and the quick cut to a scene that shows a toppled pole among overgrown weeds that says that the location is already closed.

Then, the security guard, Mike Schmidt, is shown. He is the (un)lucky fellow hired to protect the place. The teaser then shows him warily investigating the abandoned pizzeria, even asking the empty halls if anybody was there. By that time, the horror has already started to manifest.
Very quickly, the pace sinks into an onslaught of what made the franchise's popularity last so long; the lore. We are treated with quick glimpses of the horrifying image of an animatronic right on Mike's face. Then, we catch Foxy's shadow, Freddy's glowing eyes, and the unnerving scene of Mike slowly turning around to five kids standing behind him.
The teaser itself is precisely that; a teaser. Nothing much is provided regarding the movie's story or ending, but it does just enough to provide hype for the final product.
Five Nights at Freddy's is a series of horror video games where you are tasked with surviving five nights in different locations of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza against its murderous animatronics.
