Spider's Thread Game Mode And Middle School Location
In the new game mode, players face a 30-stage gauntlet filled with over 130 handcrafted levels, each more challenging than the last. The goal is simple: get to the end. But there's a twist - if players fail a stage, they will return to the beginning, but with a portion of the upgrades retained. This unique mechanic adds a new level of risk and reward to the gameplay, making every run feel like a thrilling adventure.
But Spider's Thread isn't just about the new game mode.There is also an opportunity to uncover more of the game's main story, including a creepy and mysterious Middle School area, new missions, and extended story cutscenes that give players deeper insights into the game's characters and world.
New Skills, Talisman, and Enemies
Spider's Thread Update expands on the new skills, talismans, and enemies players enjoy for Ghostwire: Tokyo. This includes Counter-Attack, a skill that allows players to follow a successful block with a quick counter-attack. Quick Dodging, a way to evade enemy attacks quickly, and Charge Rush, an evolution of your Ethereal Weaving technique which allows players to augment Palm Strike into a charged melee strike.
Watch out for the new enemies, including fast-moving Retribution, invisible Silent Gaze, and high-flying Sanguine Dancer. They'll test your skills like never before. Use the new Tengu Wind and Spiritual Fountain talismans to gain an advantage and explore new areas.
Expanded Photo Mode
In the Spider Thread update, players can capture a souvenir image with the expanded Photo Mode feature, where they can put stamps to overlay their pictures. Players are to use in-game Meika to unlock figures at capsule machines scattered throughout Tokyo to unlock game models.
Ghostwire: Tokyo Spider Update will be a free update for all players on PS5, PC, Xbox X|S Gameplass, and PC Gamepass. Releasing on April 12, 2023.
