Atelier Resleriana Brings Together Several Atelier Characters
Atelier Resleriana is an alchemy gacha RPG and is the latest entry to the long-running Atelier franchise. Just like previous Atelier titles, players are supposed to fight in battle, forage for ingredients, and combine them with all kinds of alchemy recipes. The game runs on a stamina-based system, though the website has said that playing the main story will not consume Stamina in-game.
Other characters from previous games in the Atelier franchise are also set to make an appearance. According to the Atelier Resleriana livestream, they will be referred to as "foreigners" who had come to the game world. These characters include Ryza, from the Atelier Ryza part of the series, Escha and Logy from the Atelier Escha & Logy, and Shallistera from Atelier Shallie.
Atelier Resleriana Theme Theme Song Sung by Former EGOIST Vocalist
Upcoming gacha RPG Atelier Resleriana revealed a new theme song on Friday, Sept. 23, 2023. During a livestream for the 2023 Tokyo Game Show, publisher Koei Tecmo unveiled one of the game's cinematic trailers - which includes a preview of the title's opening song, "Saihate e," sung by Reche, the former vocalist of the popular Japanese pop music duo EGOIST.
"I am honored to be involved in the Atelier series again," Reche said in her remarks posted by the official Atelier Resleriana X/Twitter account, "and the words that color the beginning of a new adventure have been condensed into one song."
This is the second time Reche has sung for the Atelier franchise, her first song being "That Summer Hideout," the opening song for Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key.
New Character Unveiled
Along with the new cinematic trailer, a new character for Atelier Resleriana was also unveiled: the white knight, Juna or Yuna. She joins Atelier Resleriana's initial cast, which includes Resna, the main protagonist who seeks to bring alchemy back to the world, Isana, her best friend, Roman, a goodhearted adventurer, Saskia, Resna's mentor in alchemy, and Valeria, the game's deuteragonist.
Atelier Resleriana Gets 1 Million Pre-Registrations Ahead of Release
Earlier on Friday, the official Atelier Resleriana X/Twitter account announced that pre-registrations for the game had already hit 1 million.
Atelier Resleriana is set to go live on September 23, 2023 for smartphones, with a PC release expected sometime in the future.
