Where Winds Meet Overview
Where Winds Meet is a Wuxia open-world action-adventure RPG set in 10th century ancient China, where players take on the reins of a young swordmaster on a journey to discover the truth behind the mysteries surrounding their identity. Where the wind stirs in the land, they will be there too, their legend slowly taking root. Take part in China’s Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, where history is being shaped in real-time through political factions, showcases of power, and battles.
First released in China on December 27, 2024 (Windows PC) and January 9, 2025 (Android, iOS), Where Winds Meet is now set to arrive globally on PC via Steam, Epic Games, and on the PlayStation 5 sometime in 2025. While it is available for mobile in China,there has been no official announcement yet from Everstone Studios if a global mobile port will follow suit.
The game features over 150 hours of solo gameplay, or embark on a journey with up to four other friends in co-op mode. Create and customize your hero, creating your own blend of Wuxia combat with classic weapons such as the sword, spear, dual blades, or even ones like the glaive, fan, or umbrella.
Players will traverse through a large open-world map with over 20 distinct regions to discover, with a plethora of points of interest to learn more about this enigmatic world. Scale rooftops, mountains, walls, or ride the wind to get from place to place—the world is yours for the taking.

Where Winds Meet Gameplay
Where Winds Meet is an action-adventure game that features a narrative-driven journey through a massive open-world with tons of areas to explore and characters to meet. Choose between being a hero or an agent of chaos—the freedom is all in the player’s palm, with each action bringing forth its own consequences. Befriend villagers and establish camaraderie and reputation as a Wuxian hero, or defy the law and cause chaos as a fugitive.
Combat is influenced by Wuxia, letting players build their own fighting style. Either be a hard-hitting mercenary thriving with melee attacks, or a ranged attacker who prefers to keep their distance, or even a stealthy assassin hiding in the shadows—with over seven weapons and mystic martial arts to master, you can make your own Wuxian hero, creating your own legacy.
